I will be in Toronto for a BM Shabbat this winter at a black hat type shul. What would I be expected to wear as a guest?
I do not cover with a sheital and am not planning on starting now, I wear hats and berets so I won't completely fit in anyway but I want a direction for my outfit.
I am completely clueless and don't want to embarasse myself.
Also, boots or heals for shul? Or healed dressy boots?
I'm coming from a wormer climate as well so tips on keeping warm while being dressy would be great. It's been years since I've been to Toronto in winter.
