Does medicaid ever cover a baby nurse?
This is for a preemie who has minor issues but her mother is hospitalized and will be for a while. She won't be able to care for the child.

There are certain criteria where insurance will cover for a baby nurse. Best to call the health insurance and ask them.

I know someone who had a baby nurse covered by Medicaid. Her twins were preemies and one of them was on a feeding tube. I believe her pediatrician helped her with getting Medicaid/ city approval.
Perhaps, you should ask the pediatrician if he/ she has any leads.
