I find that if I use vaseline on my lips it causes the dry layer of skin to peel off. Anyone have the same experience? Can this be bad? Can I ever remove "too much skin?" -how many layers of skin do I have there anyways?

you can exfoliate your lips if you want. it sounds like you use vaseline to help with dry lips. I put it on at night to prevent dry lips, that works fine. once your lips are dry already, it will peel when moisturized. it's not a big deal.

yup the dead dry skin needs to come off ...

I apply vaseline several times a day ~ especially before going out into the cold & after eating & brushing my teeth
