Sounds yum. Thanks! Can I just combine the choc chips and plain creamy peanut butter into dough? No time for that extra step. And no confection sugar.

simple peanut butter cookie recipe:

1 jar peanut butter
1/2 jar sugar (basically, sugar is half the amount of peanut butter)
1 egg (1.5 if you don't mind throwing out the yolk)
(dash of salt if the p.b. doesn't have)
drop vanilla

mix together. Add mini chocolate chips.

Stick in the fridge for about 1/2 hour

form into balls. flatten on top with a fork (criss cross for prettiness)

bake 325 for 20 min

based on http://www.bakerella.com/perfectly-peanutty/

Thank you. I would try this one day as a dessert. Now I need something with flour.

I only made this once. I think you need to make it separately so the Peanut butter marbles with the choc. I tried doing a batch without putting it in the fridge but it was too gooey to shape.
Make them small. Its very rich!

This Recipe is from allrecipes.com

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
(allrecipes.com)

1 stick margarine, softened
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the corn syrup, water, and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chunks. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

Yes! I got the recipe at the end, and it's insane! Exactly what I was craving for! Just very hard to make balls out of the dough. Very crumbly and extremely oily. Is it because I used oil instead of marg? How was your dough?

I use marg and it was crumbly too. the good part is that it's allowed to have cracks in the cookie. doesn't have to be perfect balls. then when it's baked it has the pretty cracks that makes cookie look so appetizing and professionl, IMO.

Right! But wasn't easy to make. Too oily and didn't work with cookie scooper. I will compare the other recipes, and then save the best!
