I know it's a silly questions but I go on imamother and if there's nothing doing, I feel like I'd like to browse more, but...

- yeshiva world is too depressing
- other news sites, yahoo, etc., seem all quite trashy to me

Are there any other frum forums? (I'm I allowed to ask that on here?)

Really good frum blogs?

Does it have to be frum? There's lots of cool websites: Salon, Slate, TV Tropes, Arts and Letters Daily. Tor.com has amazing short fiction.

If you're on Facebook there are many groups you can join that function similarly to forums, just faster paced and more edgy. Eg. Jewish women talk about anything

How does getting entry work? I've tried a few times to gain admittance and each time nothing happens. Does someone need to vouch for you? Or is there specific criteria I need to meet?

www.betweencarpools.com is a great (rather new) site. I find it very positive and easy. But not boring. I think they even have an app

I think there is a huge waiting list and they take time to sort thru and filter out the ppl who don't belong. Having a FB profile with your real name and pic will def help.
