Op here. I'm not starting a paci! I got rid of them by age 5 by all my other kids, and oh my if I couldn't find it at bedtime! Couldn't go for a short car ride without it!

That sounds tough. If you were able to deal with that you will definitely figure this out. Training your kids to self sooth and fall asleep on their own is tough but you are doing an excellent job. Just continue doing what you are doing.

I think you're doing an excellent job - under 10 minutes crying & then falling asleep is great!! I wish I can do that - I have much difficulty with getting babies to sleep. Probably as he gets used to it, it will get even less!
