Why can't you just change into regular shoes?

Keep a regular pair of shoes at work to change into. Why would you wear slippers?

I work in a non jewish office, business attire. More than a few of us have worn slippers! We each have our own offices and no one can see whats under our desk. Why not?

I wear a pair that I just got at 50% off from the Vera Bradley store.

Slippers? I would go with flats. When I have changed I change into simple flats that are easy to carry in a small bag.

I change into crocs during the winter. I can't stand wearing boots all day. I never worked anywhere that has ever had any sort of dress code. Anything goes.

When I broke my toe years ago, I had to wear clogs as that was the only thing that was comfortable. I got nice ones, but still - slippers are slippers. The 2nd time I broke my toe, I think I wore sneakers.

Now, years later, I still keep slippers at work, but this time it's leather suede mules.

Even at home, I have slides or mules for slippers - they're real shoes - not fuzzy bedroom slippers.
