Any ideas of what I can buy for a teacher/mentor who helped me a lot?
I would not feel comfortable giving too-personal of an item - I'd prefer a household item or the likes.
Thanks

I saw very lately in the gift shop they have such dips dishes from silverware. Sounds very nice and practical.

Household item? How about a coffee maker?

Was thinking of that. But is it something people appreciate receiving? I know my parents and in laws both didn't want one because they say it takes up to much space on the counter. Is it just them?

Whatever you buy, give with a gift receipt so it can be exchanged easily. Even if she doesn't want it, it's a beautiful gift and she'll appreciate it and be able to exchange it for something else.

Do your parents and in law's have limited counter space... Everyone feels differently abt their counter space.
I know someone who despite living in an apartment with limited space preferred a non foldable dish rack dryer to sit on her counter, bc it made washing the dishes easier for her.
And if they like coffee there's a good bet they'd appreciate it

My parents actually have a large kitchen with plenty of counter space. They just like the look of clean counters. Personally I own a nespresso and love it! But because I saw they don't want one, I was hesitant. I like the idea of a gift receipt though.

A beautifully written note, and a donation to a charity the mentor would support. Most people who want a coffee maker, own a coffee maker.
