If you pumped and gave colostrum for the first 2 days, how did you give it? Newborns only eat a tiny amount then, not enough to give via a bottle? What day did you start formula?

You should change the title of your post
I exclusively bottle fed but didn't pump colostrum
We gave formula immediately. You know when a baby is hungry. She ate 2-3 oz immediately then about 4 oz a few days later

I expressed colostrum and used syringes to feed. I also supplemented with formula in a bottle until my milk came in.

Same here. I don't nurse or pump. We give formula from the start. At first they only eat a little at a time but after 2 or so days they have regular feedings.

My daughter was a bit of a preemie, weighed only 4 pounds 8 oz and wasn't strogn enough to suck much. I pumped in the hospital and gave it in a bottle. They have special preemie bottles designed to hold small amounts.
