What kind of place is this? Very right wing or not so much? Compare to BJJ and Meohr.Thx.

Also Seminar Yerushalayim same question.

Much more academic than Meohr. Similar to BJJ but a little smaller .

Similar to what BJJ once was (my perception is that it is way more right wing these days, in my day it was much more of a mix.)

My younger sister went to Bnos Sarah. She loved it. It's a mix but basically BY type. Very academic, intellectual. Warm staff. I think it will be my first choice for my younger DD, if I can afford to send her.

I always put this disclaimer in posts about seminaries: Before you consider a type, consider whether you trust the staff to care for your child for 10 months, with you being thousands of miles away.

Bnos Sarah is super academic, very in line with BJJ. The school is very frum, and is hashkafically in line with BJJ, but not as hard-line in their approach as BJJ. (Their approach is softer, less kana'ee-ish.) BJJ tends to be more test-heavy while Bnos Sarah is very reports-heavy. (The girls are expected to do extensive research for these reports, and they work very hard.) It has a reputation for having an exceptionally nice, sweet, and bright student body.

Thanks, Chayalle, my dd is there now, and loves it. If it's where your daughter belongs, it is wonderful. Hatzlocha with it all when the time comes!

Pleated skirt, any blouse. I recommend bringing at least 1 "short" skirt (meaning below knee, but not really long), as it's easy to dress up and also doesn't get as wet on rainy days. You can get collars to wear beneath sweaters instead of always needing to wear a full blouse. They have them for really cheap on aliexpress. Girls use plain t-shirts (like from gap) as sweaters in addition to real sweaters. Idea
