Can you call your rav? There are some hechsherim that are popping up around town that I personally do not eat at all - so I think it is best to ask someone reliable.

(and I don't think people, especially who are new to town realize the difference at all between different agencies in Lakewood and surrounding areas - I"m seeing from people who are recommending places to eat - they must not be aware at who is certifying, or just don't care - like someone who will only eat chassidush shechita, but then the place serves it on non-pas yisroel bread and they don't realize - not necessarily referring to Lakewood but surrounding cities as well).

I'm guessing OP is referring to

Lakewood Kasrus Organization (LKO) - R' Yosef Tesler

It looks like an LK in a circle.

It is rabbi Tesler (who holds by Rabbi Abadi's unique mesorah). Ask your LOR.
Btw the rt 9 Howell Starbucks is listed on Star K website as kosher friendly and therefore ok to purchase certain items. Check out the star k's website.
