The letter is legit. It's on their letterhead. If you're on Facebook the letter is circulating

That's crazy! We nearly went there. BH we decided to go somewhere else.

What are all these families going to do a week before Pesach? Weren't some of them supposed to be flying early this week?

I just read the letter. Are you sure it's correct? There were a lot of typos and just written on a terribly low level. Much lower that I would expect from a legit place. Sounds fishy to me.

You think this is Gd telling you to stay home?

I think it's the nature of business. There is a glut of programs, and not all programs have Mazel (same as any business)

If you go on FB, you'll see dozens of families trying to find other programs to go to, now that this was cancelled at the last minute...

Perhaps English is not the owner/coordinator's first language.

It is unfortunately true. The owner is from here. Lots of people are stuck.

I don't like not being home on Pessach but puh-leez, what G-s is telling us? maybe that there are dishonest people, or something? Nothing else. Every year some program, either Pessach or summer, falls through...

I've never heard of a Pesach program cancelling 3 days before people were supposed to fly though!

Is it true that the Tuscany, Italy program got cancelled the same day? Comments are swirling all over Facebook and WhatsApp but I haven't heard from anyone who actually is/was supposed to go there.

For all the cancelled programs, were people refunded their money?

bump. Were people refunded their money last year for the cancelled programs?
We're considering a program in Europe. How do you protect yourself from these things happening? What kind of insurance would cover this.

I'm seeing tons of programs of all kind, luxury to basics (26 euros a day!), glatt to kosher. Go on French and English pages for more.

I only know about the Greece program (La Perla) - not everyone was refunded.

I would say stick to programs that have been around for years, organized by reputable people. Those programs are not likely to be cancelled at all.
