I would like to hear people's experiences with Dr. Huberman.
My child definitely doesn't have autism, but I'm suspecting that he has something (ADHD?).

I mostly found good reviews from parents that have children with autism, or wanted to rule out autism. Autism is not a concern for me, so I am wondering if he'll still be helpful.
Any experiences that you can share?

Thank you.

I felt that we had a good experience with him, excellent bedside manner, seemed to know what he was talking about, came recommended by our pediatrician whom I trust, seemed thorough in his assessments. But we were definitely in the category of ruling in or out autism so I can't say for sure what happens if you're in a different category. The main assessment he used for my kids seemed to be geared for autism but that could be because that's what he suspected in the first place. The assessment forms he gave to the teachers and to us were more comprehensive. But he is known to be an expert in autism.

One of the reasons I went to him was because not only did he have a solid reputation, he was covered in our insurance network and also available in less than a zillion years. So if those are concerns for you and it's a choice between Huberman, spending $10,000, and/or waiting 18 months for a diagnosis, I'd say you're better off going to him than not going to him.

Calll relief if you live in ny/ nj area. They have great recommendations!

You would tell them the symptoms describe your child. And they guide you who's the best to see. They were very helpful to me. They were very patient when I described my child. Mrs Schwartz gave me all the time I needed.

I have nothing personal with them except I highly recommend them because of my experiences with them.

Thanks for responding.
I'm specifically looking to hear from those with personal experience with Dr. Huberman.
