What are the best forks for a 1 year old just starting to use one? It's hard to do research online since so many of the reviewers are given free products for their review which kind of messes with their opinions a bit...
also are the bowls/plates with suctions on the bottom worth purchasing or do the kids end up pulling them up anyway (or scooping the food out and dumping it on the floor that way)?
Also do you find that "fun" plates make it more likely for young toddlers to try things they wouldn't usually want to try?

Thanks. I'm looking for a fork that the child can actually "stab" the food with and pick it up that way. Can you do that with these or are they too blunt?
(I'm looking for something not TOO sharp and pointy but with a little bit of a point so that they are functioning forks)
