I am looking for a cute/easy "cooking"" activity to do with my pre-school class at school using Ha'etz fruit specifically. I want the end bracha to be Ha'etz so nothing like apple pie, fruit pizza, etc.

Thanks! I thought of that but so many fruits used on kebobs are "ha'adama" like melons and I cant' use things like whole grapes because of choking :-(

What's your recipe for fruit soup? Do you cook it?

apple cubes, cut grapes in half and then they're fine

you can do more like parfait cups with pomegranate seeds and canned fruit

No cooking. Haven't made it in a while but here's the gist:
can of peaches (halves or slices, cut into pieces)
can of pears (same)
can of sweet cherries (not marashino) (I don't think these are a major choking hazard- they are pitted and tend to be very soft)
can of sour cherries (optional, but adds a contrasting flavor)
basically pour them all together with their liquid. You can add any other canned fruit that fits in (I think I added canned plums)
The kids could cut the fruit into pieces (with appropriate knives) and pour in the fruit and juices. you can add a container of whip if you want to make it creamy. You can also blend some of it to thicken (not all or it won't be ha'Eitz).
This could be a really quick activity or you can make it longer by adding other skills (counting the fruits, describing them, compare/contrast, etc)

ETA Just searched and found my original post with the recipe in This Topic (about 6th post)
