Where can I rent/purchase a plus size wedding gown in Brooklyn? My wedding is in a couple of months and I'm having trouble finding a plus size gown. Brooklyn or NYC only, and reasonable cost.

It could. If a gemach has a gown donated in an XL, that doesn't mean they will have an XXL.

Sorry for the intrusive question. Having done this myself, I found that some places had 16s or 18s but nothing higher so yes it makes a difference. Also, I own 2 plus size 16 wedding gowns, so if the size was right, I might be of help.

Given the lack of larger plus sizes, if that's what you need, I would say try building up a gown from David's bridal, or trying to line something like this, which I think would look stunning http://www.kiyonna.com/plus-si.....30904

Although I did not end up using them, tznius princess has some to choose from and are willing to let out dresses thry have for you. I know u said brooklyn or nyc only but I had a great experience at bridal secrets. She had a nice selection in my size wnd it was a great experience. Located in 5 towns.
