Enjoy your break in the bathroom with imamother!
But I thought that as a practicing jew one refrains from eating in the bathroom...

You're probably right, Babyblue.
But let's say OP made the Bracha outside the bathroom and is keeping the seat closed- Doesn't sound so so bad now, right?
Desperate times sometimes call for desperate measures...

Lolol.... Lol hakavod for your courage to put it out there.... I recently locked myself in the downstairs bathroom just so that I could eat quietly for 5 minutes without being climbed on and harassed!

LOL!
I just saw a cute quote the other day --
Vacation? I don't need a vacation...just 10 minutes to myself in the bathroom!
but yeah, eating in the bathroom is problematic as far as I know...

You reminded me of this:
Attention Children The Bathroom Door is Closed!
Please do not stand here and talk, whine, or ask questions. Wait until I get out.
Yes, it is locked. I want it that way. It is not broken, and I am not trapped.
I know I have left it unlocked, and even open at times, since you were born, because I was afraid some horrible tragedy might occur while I was in there, but it's been 10 years and I want some PRIVACY.
Do not ask me how long I will be. I will come out when I am done.
Do not bring the phone to the bathroom door.
Do not go running back to the phone yelling "She's in the BATHROOM!"
Do not begin to fight as soon as I go in.
Do not stick your little fingers under the door and wiggle them. This was funny when you were two.
Do not slide pennies, LEGOs, or notes under the door. Even when you were two this got a little tiresome.
If you have followed me down the hall talking, and are still talking as you face this closed door, please turn around, walk away, and wait for me in another room. I will be glad to listen to you when I am done.
And yes, I still love you.

As a child we were taught no food or drink in the bathroom...to this day I wonder how that teacher survived as a mother )

I think reading imamother in the bathroom is probably problematic since there are so many references to G-d and Torah topics, even just scrolling through the list of topic titles. Perhaps you could stick with a non-religious website for your bathroom retreats?

Yes, that's clearly exactly what I meant. And of course that's the only other option on the internet other than imamother.

Chalila. You don't want to hear G-d's name called out in the bathroom.
I say stick to ice cream and Imamother, much safer.
