Thanks for all the ideas! Between all of them, I think I can figure something out. I will also look into bowling. I think I can get away with keeping the guest list short if we go bowling or go to a movie. Btw, it's funny that for those who don't do parties every year, 6 or 7 seems to be the age that kids ask for it. I guess that's the age they really get into that sort of thing.
