For my DD. Here are the factors.
Size 0, can wear a shrug over, but not a shell under, so has to have a reasonable neckline. Would prefer 3/4 or long sleeves.
Can't be too dark navy.
Needs to get here in the next week or so, to try on.
Prefers something that makes a 15 year old look closer to 17 than 10.
Extra points if the price doesn't cause my blood pressure to rocket.
We live too far away to any of the places with gemachs, and most wouldn't let us keep a gown for the 2 weeks we will be in EY for the wedding.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The kallah doesn't like the look of shells under dresses, that's a big part of my problem.

Imasinger, it could be hard to find a gown with those considerations. Must it be solid navy, or could you do, for example, a cream dressy top and navy ball gown skirt?

If you let daughter likes the dress in the second link, I doubt the kallah would notice she wore a shell underneath. It has long sleeves already and the shell will literally blend in with the lace.

This place has gorgeous gowns which are very affordable. I've seen some navy gowns. A lot of them can be worn with a shrug. Worth a browse.

I haven't brought anything here yet, but I was recommended by a friend who did and was very happy with them.

This one is really pretty and the comment said the seller added sleeves at no extra cost. I'm not sure it will come in time, but you can try contacting the seller.

Look at TJ Maxx on-line under dresses. Then click on Formal and choose color blue. I don't think there is anything perfect right off the bat, but a lot could be good with an added shrug. You can order on line and return at the store.
