I am looking for ideas on how to make a crumb topping for fruit crisps for pesach. Non-gebrokts. Not too sweet. In fact, the less sweet the better. During the year I make a sort of casual crumb layer using oatmeal, walnuts, oil and a very little bit of agave nectar. Can anyone think of how to do somehting similar for pesach?

I make one that was originally in mishpacha magazine. Potato starch and ground nuts are the base.

I'm sure if you google mishpacha strawberry apple pesach recipe or some similar combo you'll find it. If not, I can post.

I bet that you could create a sort of streusel with just potato starch, oil sugar and cinnamon (and a pinch of salt). Make it pie crust texture (in other words, kind of dense) and then crumb off irregularly sized little bits with your fingers. It will probably taste good fresh out of the oven but get a bit soggy in the fridge, so you probably would want to rewarm before serving it again
