DD is having a mother-daughter event at her school to celebrate the entire grade's bas mitzvahs collectively. I'm so excited to attend but I'm not sure if I should buy her a gift or not. If yes, what should I get her? Her bas mitzvah is not until June. I don't know what the other mothers are doing. If they buy gifts but I show up without one then DD will be embarrassed.
Also, she's been telling us all about the great gifts her friends will be getting for their bas mitzvahs. She has no grandparents that can give her a gift and DH and I are clueless about what to buy her. Do we buy her now or wait until June?

you can bring her a rose as it's not her birthday yet & you would want to celebrate her real birthday rather than some school gathering
