I got a cast today, which has to be on for 6 weeks.
What a perfect time to break a leg. I'm trying to stay positive. I was thinking of decorating the cast for Purim. Any ideas?

Refuah sheleima! Google cast decals- you should be able to see some cute stickers that you can remove after Purim. Or you can wear an eye patch and be a pirate.

It's interesting that you're thinking of Purim. I'd be more panicking about getting ready for Pesach. (But then again I'm starting to think that maybe I'm one of like 10 people in the whole world that actually stays home - instead of going to hotel or parents' house - and makes Pesach).

Refuah sheleimah!

P.S. Maybe your husband or kids want to dress up like doctors and nurses and you can be their patient?
