I'm talking about professional places, not Chaim Yankels basement. What does your company do if it's not a job you can do from home ?

If the office is closed by order of the boss, we get paid. If the office is not closed but we don't show up, we have to charge it to vacation.

I work in an out-patient setting. If we don't come to work, it counts as a vacation day. Even though no patients will be there. It doesn't make me love my employer.

It counts as a vacation day or I have to come in an extra day to make up. (I work in Healthcare and I'm usually off friday.)

Work hourly.
No payment if no working. But snow doesn't close my office.

I am enjoying the snow from NY here in Yerushalyim.

All day yesterday and today on the phone to family that I havn't spoken to for ages, all are home and have plenty of time.

I asked them about getting paid, most said that they are paid if transport is not running on normal schedules

Closed for a second day here. Hourly worker so no pay unless I take it as a vacation day.
But I've been working on my emunah-Hashem gives us the money, and we will get whatever Hashem wants us to have. This unpaid time off is good practice for me!

BH BH paid. I am hourly, and we get paid days off, but there are extra bad weather days to draw from. I know this is super rare. Not a frum office, or even a technically Jewish one.
