Purim 2017 at the Shanie5's

Our theme for purim caught a VIRUS this year
And nearly messed up our plans beyond repair.
COMPUTER was our idea when it all began
But we ran into trouble when we started to plan.
Our costumes were to be a GEEK and a MOUSE,
And a LAPTOP computer like we had in the house.
So we ordered ONLINE, but instead of a geek,
What showed up was a costume for a computer GREEK.
And the kind of MOUSE we had in mind,
Did not have big ears, or a tail behind.
As for the laptop, we asked for an HP,
HARRY POTTER showed up as you can plainly see.
Shalach manos itself was a similar disaster,
They say “get rid of your COOKIES for your system to run faster.
So we baked cookies, for them to be sent,
Only to find out that’s not what is meant.
Every computer has CHIPS as everyone knows,
They sent us the potato kind-so you’re getting those!
A FIREWALL is important-or so we are told,
But FIREBALL is what to us they sold.
We strung it on string-or rather twine,
So the mishloach manos is now officially ONLINE.
We looked at what we had-a mess it did seem,
And managed to come up with an alternate theme.
A COMPUTER VIRUS it became-it worked out quite well,
Our purim was salvaged as you can clearly tell.
Now the Shanie5'S will be on their way,
Wishing you a FREILICHEN PURIM-enjoy the day!

Do you have a picture of your Mishloach Manos you can post? Or at least a list of what you put in it?

Will have my dh help me post a pic later (I don't know how to do that).
What we gave was Fireballs (instead of firewalls), a bag of chips, and 2 cookies. The fireballs and cookies were in snack bags (separate, not together) and I strung them together with string-using an embroidery needle to thread it thru the bags. The poem was rolled up and taped closed. we ended up wrapping the mm on the string around the poem.

We are RINGing this Purim
Can you not tell?
That the 3 of us
Are each dressed as a BELL?

We’ll start with Sarah
As fairy so sweet
Dressed up as TinkerBELL
Gliding down the street

Next we have Chevy
As the BELLe of the ball
In her fancy dress,
Makeup and all

And then there is Shanie
What BELL can she be?
Why a BELLSer chossid
Now do you see?

For the sound of a BELL
A RING is the norm
So we give you one
In a candy form

A whole BELL pepper
Completes our theme
We’ve done it again
The Shanie5 team

And so we’ll end now
Just sign off and say
“A FREILICHEN PURIM”
And “have a great day”
