do you like a name just cuz of the sound of it? the meaning? association with a person you really like?
the other two threads on this topic are really interesting. I see some lists that have names that are totally different styles so I'm wondering what makes a name be your favorite?

For me, it's mainly the meaning of the name/association with the original person (tanach or midrash, etc) coupled with both how it sounds and how it looks to me

The rhythm of the name.
Some names just have a gorgeous rhythm. Others are awkward and stilted.

My favorite names are the ones that sound pretty and have a beautiful meaning or are named after a special person.

Top priority is the meaning.
After that, that it's after someone, either a personal someone or a tanach someone.
Third is the way it sounds.
