Is hot and spicy duck sauce very hot? Would it taste nice as a sauce for chicken cutlets broiled in oven (and would it be better with added ingredients)?

I like it. It has a nice kick, but it's not crazy hot. For someone who doesn't like spicy, it might not be a good choice.
