I was asked to make dinner for a family. The kids eat chicken bottoms. My kids only each chicken cutlets and my previous chicken bottom cooking experiences have not yielded good results. Can someone share a foolproof recipe?

place the bottoms (skin up) in an aluminum pan. spirinkle with paprika powder, 1 small spoon of sugar, 5 table spoons oil, salt or soysauce, onion powder and a dash of bbq sauce.
bake covered (with aluminum foil) on 170°C for about 40 minutes (meat must be soft) , then uncover place on 'broil' for 10 minutes on 200°C .
this way the meat will stay soft, juicy and tender, but the skin will be crispy (like rotisserie chicken)

Put them skin side up in a pan. Add any spices or sauce. Bake uncovered at 350F for an hour.

I would suggest using a recipe with a sauce so then nothing can go wrong (can't get too dried out or anything.)
I have a really good recipe I always use from the Balabuste's choice, will try post it soon.

Shake n Bake chicken
Comes out right every time.
Crunchy or BBQ
They are both equally delicious.

I bake chicken bottoms for 2.5-3 hours covered at 350° and then it's really soft and yummy. Often I put in sliced potatoes or/and sweet potatoes/or small red potatoes.
You can sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and a bit of paprika and pour over duck sauce or apricot jam and ketchup.

I often get compliments for this:
Sesame Sauce Chicken (Balebusta's Choice 2)
1/2 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
1/4 honey or brown sugar
1 Tbsp sugar
dash of black pepper
1/4 cup mustard
3 Tbsp soy sauce
sesame seeds
I personally prefer with tomato sauce and honey.
I also do less mustard since I'm not a such a mustard fan though you won't go wrong with just following the recipe either.
I usually do 1x the recipe for a whole chicken.

Thank you! How long do you bake this and at what temp?
