I found a bag of frozen (Bodek-type) broccoli in my freezer. I microwaved a few pieces for dinner one night but they tasted pretty freezer burnt. Is there any way to use them and hide that taste? Soup? other? Or give it up and throw it out?

You could try turning it into a blended soup with lots of sautéed onion and garlic and salt. Or a kugel, seasoned well.
If you have time.
If feeling like you have to somehow use it up will stress you, toss it.
