I went for a well visit to the Dr with my baby. I told Dr (very cautious Dr) that I feel baby isn't focus. I have a older kid and when I took 2 month pictures of him he was smiling away. My daughter is 9 weeks and smiling but not because I smiled to her. She doesn't focus. Dr told me not to worry because she seems ok but gave me a prescription to see an eye Dr just to calm everyone. Anyone had this experience and came out OK?

Yes. I had the same thing. Was so so worried but Bh he started making eye contact. dont remember exactly when
But probably closer to 3 mths. Much later than my other kids and still does all milestones later than expected.
However your child may be different so make an appointment just in case.
