If you mean to adjust the temperature, then most poskim hold you cannot do so on YT. The exception is Rav Heinemann from the Star-K who allows it. If you just mean to use it to blank out the controls and dismantle the light, then no problem.

Who is Rav Herskowitz? I can tell you that Rav Shlomo Miller (Toronto -- has a Beis Horaah in Lakewood) does not allow the change of temperature on YT. Google it and you will see many rabbonim do not allow it. Rav Heinemann of Baltimore does allow it.
