we did the picnic in the valley of Ginom, and then walked up to the old city festival.. we only did the first 2 stops, it looked like it was going to pour (and was crazy crowded) so we walked out and walked up Yafo where we bought the kids drinks and made a stop in Gina's underware before heading back home...

We were at Givat haTachmoshet today. Museum is currently closed (I'm guessing for renos before the big festivities for the anniversary this year) but everything else was running and they had activities and shows for the kids too. Mine are aged 4-11.

We went to the tower of David. Lots of walking and running around, but not super interesting. It was free for kids. It was nice. We went on a whim on the way to the kotel.
Plan before and bring food.
It's a great fortress, so it can be great fun running along the ramparts and battlements. 40nis/adult. I don't know what age children are free till.
