Is it manners to finish everything in you plate?

I don't mind using challah to sop up juices from gravy, what I do mind is when people use their fingers to pick the crumbs off their plate or table...

They wet it and collect the sesame seeds or challah crumbs off the tablecloth...

ohhhhhhhhhh! my kids love eating the crumbs but I'm not sure they know how to do that.
