Do you have a vacuum cleaner that you love, for hardwood floors? Don't need to work well for carpet, just hardwood floors. Thanks!

If using a canister vacuum - use a "bare floor" attachment.
If using an upright vacuum - make sure the "bare floor" setting is not just a very low height setting, but actually turns off or retracts the beater bar to avoid scratching the floor.
I have had good results with a Kenmore upright and a Dyson canister.

I have a miele canister that works great on our hardwood floors and doesn't scratch.
