A thread for Israeli films

This is a thread for recommending and discussing Israeli movies.

Recently I've seen:

* Zero Motivation

Excellent, very funny, shows the ennui of life on base without much to do. Plus one of the actresses is a friend of a friend Smile

* The Kindergarten Teacher

Weird, haunting, sort of bizarre but with its own internal logic. You need some patience to watch it, because everything appears to be moving slowly, before veering off sharply into thriller category

* Blush

Nah. Too many requisite "liberal" themes (homosexual exploration, drugs, Arab-Jewish relationships) crammed into one film. A watered-down version of Blue is the Warmest Color

* The Kind Words

Incredibly beautiful. Painful, too, for an only child like me, as it's primarily about the bond, love, and loyalty between adult siblings. Definitely worth watching more than once
