I usually wash all my whites with detergent and bleach and all the spots come out.
I bought my son a shirt with navy trimming. The white part really has spots. I wish I can bleach but the navy would fade. What can I use?

The truth, I bought 2 of these shirts. One with long sleeves and one with short. I already washed and dried the long sleeve shirt in a regular load but there are spots left. Before I wash the short sleeve one I want to know how to do it right. And is there anything I can do with the shirt I washed and dried already?

Use a bleach pen on the spots, then wash with whites.

I have a Clorox pen with a scrubby end, so I scrub the bleach into the spots. As long as they're not too close to the trim, I've never had a problem.

Try oxiclean with the load and pre-treat the stain with whatever makes sense based on what the spots are from. Also, I always line-dry items until I'm sure they're spot-free since I've had bad luck getting things out after they've gone through the dryer.

For keeping upping the brightness, I'm a huge fan of bluing! It's sort of old fashioned but it really works. I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Mrs-Ste.....Z9HHH

Pretreat stains with oxyclean gel then wash on warm with white or light colored stuff with oxyclean powder and detergent. I wash all my whites like this.
