My daughter was scratched by another toddler and there is an imprint like scar on her face. Does anyone know how to minimize the appearance of a scar on a toddlers face? How can I make sure it wont be permanent?

How long ago was she scratched?
When my child was young she got stitches on her forehead.
I was told by the surgeon to make sure to keep it covered when in the sun, and to put aloe on it.
You can barely see the scar now.
Don't know if this would help you though

Try vitamin E a couple times a day. After two weeks though I'm not sure how much it'll help.

I used maderma-kids for ds who had a long deep scratch on his forehead. It's purple and the color disappears when rubbing it in so it was fun for the kid. The scar disappeared a after about 6 weeks. He had it for about 3 months before we started using the maderma. My pediatrician told me to use it.
