I have 2 boys 5&6 who are close in size. They are in a school where they don't wear shorts to school, budget is tight, how many pairs of shorts should I get them for the summer? I've never been good at this. I can do laundry at home, but don't like doing it TOO frequently.

How many days a week will they be wearing shorts.? Get them each one per day plus one.

Eta I've gotten target cat and jack shorts for $4 a pair.
