Hi! I have the items I want to sell.. I just need help taking off, I'm not so good at these things
So far I made an Instagram account and started following pple, I see two pple are following me now.
I also started posting pictures of the items Im selling..
Please can any of you help me out.. How do I go from here
What else do I need to do /know? Thanks so much!

If you follow other business accounts you can see how its done.

Interspersed with pics of the products you are selling, you post pics of costumers wearing/using your product, memes that are or are not connected with your product etc.

Join contests and instaloops to get more followers.

Follow other similar businesses, then follow their followers. Often ppl will follow you back.

Google how to promote your Instagram account.

You can open a PayPal account which sends nice looking invoices, but they do take a small percentage (like 3% or so per transaction).

IMHO, you need a teenager to get you started. Pay her 10% of your sales for the first couple of months, it's well worth it.

If your product is beauty, fashion, or jewelry, she'll have a large circle of friends. Get them all on board. Even if it's not her thing, she'll know the nuts and bolts of how to run a campaign, because she knows how to shop online, and what catches her eye. If your product is more for adults, just tell her to "think like a mom". LOL

She'll know all about what groups to join, how to get views, how to tag, etc. When I get my business (jewelry) back up and running, I'm going to pay DD to do this for me. She's an Insta-addict!

If you don't have a tech savvy teen, post in your FaceBook groups, and see if any of your friend's daughters want to get paid for playing around on the net. I bet you get swamped with offers.

A lot of people use squareup.com or paypal. You can also call any credit card processing company, a lot of them have web based processing options, where you don't need a physical terminal.

Franticfrumie's idea of getting a teen to help is a great one. The person who does our instagram posting is on maternity leave now, and I got stuck with the job, but I don't really know what I'm doing. Whenever I get stuck I ask one of the younger workers and she always knows exactly what to do.

There are also people who do this as their job, they'll doing your posting and marketing for you, but if you're just starting out, you're probably not ready to pay somebody yet.
