Islands China Coast Salad Dressing

I love this. I don't actually use it on a green salad although you probably could for a nice version of a Chinese Chicken Salad. I use it to make chicken salad for my sandwiches as it makes a super easy super tasty sandwich. Keeps pretty well in the fridge although I generally manage to use it very quickly.

Islands China Coast Salad Dressing

The China Coast Salad at this island-themed chain is sliced chicken breast, lettuce, red cabbage, julienned carrots, fried noodles, sesame seeds, mandarin orange wedges and chives, tossed with this top secret dressing. Many diners think the dressing is so good they ask for extra and smuggle it home. But smuggle no more! With this simple formula, you can make your own clone at home any time you like and use it on any of your favorite bowls of green.

½ cup mayonnaise
5 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder

“Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix with an electric mixer until well-blended and sugar is dissolved. Chill.

Makes 1 cup.
