I like it plain but it would be good with just a garnish of crusty croutons or crispy french fried onions (don't put too much as they get soggy quickly, but you can have more available in a bowl on the table for those that want).

Croutons on the table for whoever wishes
Usually chopped basil, cilantro or chives as a garnish on the soup itself. Sometimes a strewing of pine nuts as well.
For shavuot I'm going to put a dollop of cream in the middle of each bowl - either a spiral or some other pattern.
I think I'm going to put out pita chips too. Garlic knots would be nicer but I don't have the time.

malawach pinwheels.
I think it was malawach dough rolled thin. Spread with duck sacue and everything spice. Rolled into pinwheels and baked until crispy.

But I could be wrong on teh recipe - saying it from memory.

crispy pastrami. slice thin slices pastrami. Fry in a frying pan till crispy. You don't need to add any oil to the pan, since the pastrami lets out enough fat.
