I've never made corned beef before and clueless what to buy in the store. I didn't realize there are so mNy choices. What should I buy and what's easiest yummy way to cook it? Ty!

I have coooked it in a pot of water, although I don't remember for how long.
Today I left out in the oven submerged in water on 300f for 3 hours.
