Anything to do with Torah. For example a sefer.

Food based or crafty?

Food is not hard. Two candy rolls (or any rod like wafer rolls) wrapped in a piece of paper looks like a torah.

For crafty ideas, turn to more artistic amothers. Smile

Tks guys! It just needs to be s/t to either show or give out to the class. Not craft kinda thing. Torahs I figure the whole class will be bringing, was wondering if there are really no other words out there..

You left out two very important facts in your OP: 1 - the rest of the class will be bringing something, too and 2 - you want something unique.

This is a bit more challenging. I guess start with a list of ת words. They will all be לשון קודש though because ת is not used in yiddish.

The list of such words that are familiar to young kids and can be represented by objects is probably not very long.

If this is actually letter specific, sefer wont work as that is a samech and tisha beav wont work as that is a tet.
Or because I am assuming this is not in Israel, it is for the sound of the letter?

No words begin with 'sof' - it's a tav without a dagesh, and if I'm correct, first letter in a word is always with a dagesh.

How about tefillin - I guess giving him his dad's real tefillin might not be a good idea, but a picture, or pretend one or old pasul one?

Or tapuach - for Rosh hashana - apple and honey - tapuach bidvash - is that Yiddish enough?

Temunah - picture (of some rebbe?)

תנ"ך

I think by sefer they are trying to represent the Torah, so e.g. Sefer Vayikra.

Also when Tisha beAv is spelt out (as opposed to just written "tet beAv ״ט׳ באב it begins with a taf - the word Tisha is spelt taf shin ayin heh.

תכלת - techeiles

Starts with a tof, ends with a sof - so you get them both!

Original colour of the tzitzis - although many people do not wear it nowadays - if the kids know kriyat shema, they will know the phrase "petil techeiles" - this can bring it to life for them, make them start understanding what they are saying.

It was a color used in the mishkan, kohel gadol's clothes, mordchai hayehudi, etc.

Your DS can bring in a techeiles colored cloth or thread.

Anything you brought for ט will work, it's for the sound more.
טאטי bring a mentchy
טעלער a plate
טרינק bring a drink for the class

I don't think that's so educational.
Would you bring a kite for the letter C, or a cat for the letter K?

If you're gonna do it, at least it should be done right.
JMHO.
