The Marriott and Embassy Suites are next to each other and have the best views and nicest rooms. Check both for your dates to see what's available and in your price range. You can't go wrong with either.

The Embassy Suites is nice. They give you vouchers for breakfast, where you can find kosher cereals and whole fruits. They don't offer free WiFi though, if that's a consideration. Oh, and they charge for local phone calls which is annoying if you're coming from the US and have a choice of paying for WiFi, roaming fees on your cell phone, or using the hotel phone.

Embassy Suites, with a fall view. It was the most amazing thing to wake up to such a gorgeous view.

We've stayed in both Marriots and the embassy suites. We always get a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the falls (go in the winter prices are a fraction of the summer plus you can get a Groupon!).
I think the Embassy suites view was amazing - we had a round wall of windows overlooking both falls - but really they were all nice - Marriot has floor to ceiling windows as well.
The higher the room the better the view (unless there is fog).
If you want to save on parking you can park in teh Casino. I think it was $5 per night instead of $25. Embassy Suites was the closet to the casion.
Embassy suites was the only one with breakfast - the view was great - we brought our own milk and ate the cereal and fruit.

I like the Hilton better than the embassy suites on a personal level and the view from there is outstanding. Also, both embassy and Hilton and Sheraton four points are all a few minutes walk from the shul and two restaurants.

I know you're asking specifically about a hotel, but we rented a house from airbnb about 15 minute drive away from the falls. It was so much better. Lots of bedrooms, full kitchen etc. We've done this for many vacations, and we'll do it again.

That's a pity. Sometimes people ask me for suggestions. I don't like to give without feedback!

Hi, is there enough food in Niagara for a family coming from Friday thru Tuesday. I see there are 2 restaurants, are they well priced? Is there any kosher grocery to pick up milk/ bread etc so we can do some meals on our own?

I went in the beginning of the summer. There is a walmart very close by. I brought a waffle maker and did eggs and sandwiches in the room for breakfast. Salad. Bread and cheese. Etc for lunch and we dis the pizza shop one night. (The prices were higher than normal) the other night we went to the American side and went to buffallo and bought there. (Was also a lot).
I did not find anywhere to bbq there.
There is a kosher fleishig place noe open there that wasn't open when I was there.
We had an AMAZING trip!

Went last summer, there is no kosher food locally besides the restaurant's. Any chain stores that might carry basics was at good 20-30 minute drive away and most u had to cross the border. Come prepared with food if u don't want to buy at the restaurant.

We have had guests eat every single meal in our restaurant. The higher prices reflect that we pay high rent on some of the most valuable real estate, plus I pay ten times as much shipping as other restaurants that are not located in the middle of nowhere. Things that are pareve or not pas /bishul yisrael end up being similar to other places.

We make our food on premise, it's not just a pizza slapped together with frozen dough and tinned tomato sauce. Maybe that's normal elsewhere. I find it hard to believe, but that's what one New Yorker said to me recently- that he wasn't expecting real food in the middle of nowhere.

All prices are canadian dollars so remember that for Americans that makes a big difference.

The meat restaurant is a steak house but they still have lower priced options. It's called taste niagara kosher.

We stayed at the Sheraton Four Points last July- got a great suite with a view of the Falls. Going back again at the end of the month.

Andrea- we loved both restaurants, and I thought the prices were good- kudos to you! Looking forward to coming back...

We close at two so make sure you get your order in before that. By the way, the Chabad shabbat is beautiful!
