When I was dieting, I found that if I stopped eating at 7, I lost more weight than when I didn't.

You restricted calories too, or you only stopped eating after 7pm that led to losing weight?

Yes I lost a few pounds that way but was also watching my calorie intake throughout the day.

The steps necessary to lose weight are obvious and difficult. Yes, not eating food in the evening hours is a good idea. So is not eating chulent and kugel on shabbos. So is not having pizza, ice cream, and cake during the week. Again, easier said then done.
