This is a game that was played at many bridal and baby showers back in the 80s.
The "NO"game
It gets ppl talking and socializing.
Every person gets 5 paper clips, the ones that look like tiny laundry clips, so that you can clip them onto your clothes or chain.
Try to catch people saying the word "NO" , if they say no you get their clip.
Once you lose your clips you're out of the game, meaning you can't catch anyone saying "NO" and get their clip. The one with the most clips at the end of the night wins a prize.

We played a fun game in sem where everyone says 3 things about themselves, 2 true and one false and everyone has to guess which is the false one. It was a lot of fun and a great way to break the ice!

If you are looking for people to get to know each other, the signature game is always fun.
Make a list of about 20 (or however many you want) descriptions that fit at least one person in the group. Have to get someone who fits the description to sign by it. Person/people with most sig in x amount of time win.
Examples:
Born in foreign country
Always lived in same city
Oldest in family
Middle child
Equal number of sons and daughters
More than 8 kids
Less than 2 kids
A twin
Has twins
Owns a convertible
Lives in an apartment
Lives in an attached house
Lived in same house/apt since marriage
Has parent living with them
Has child in E"Y
Speaks more than 3 languages
Possibilities are endless. Just gear the questions to your group and make sure at least one person can sign each. Try to add some broader ones so everyone can sign at least one. You can put a limit on how many times each person can sign for each paper (there is always someone who could sign 10 lines- I like to limit to 2 or 3).
This game works great with all ages!
