I'm trying to help my husband, he is being head counseler in a day camp in NY, approximately 100 boys,
What can he do to make benching fun, 'campy' ect? Wht do other camps do??

Sing the whole thing out loud with table banging and hand motions.
Daily prizes for best (loudest) in each bunk, and best bunk. This is a rigged contest.

Something is wrong if the head counselor doesn't know how to do something as basic as bentching. Did he never go to camp? How did he get the position? Bizarre!
