I don't listen to secular music but I don't like most mainstream Jewish music. So I find my middle ground with alternative Jewish artists/bands.
But I haven't found anyone new recently and I'm sick of what I do have.
So, your suggestions, please!

Here are some artists/bands that I've enjoyed in the past:
Shtar (don't love the rap part, but I tolerate it b/c I like the rest of the songs)

I know this is an old thread. Looking for the name of an album that is in the back of my mind, can't recall. Two Israeli men singing soft music. not a mainstream band. From 1990s. One song is a slow Shir Lamaalos, another has words from nachamu/yeshaya...a little quicker beat...."solu solu am segula..."all soft and pretty. Hebrew songs only. I really don't remember what else. Does this jog anyones memory?
