I'm moving to Brooklyn in the middle of next year and I don't want to have to buy briefcases twice. What style backpacks do the little girls wear in the Boro Park/Lakewood schools? Thanks so much.

Land's End usually has some nice ones.
I think Herschel backpacks are very popular.

Cheap-y or vinyl, or characters such as Hello Kitty, will not go over very well at this age.
