Actually, yes, if she truly wants to change her screen habits.
The first step, is being honest with yourself about why you are on Ima. Are you genuinely enjoying it and learning important things, or are you avoiding uncomfortable situations at home, or upsetting feelings?
Like drugs and alcohol, addiction is about not wanting to feel something. Procrastination is the same way.
I've struggled with procrastination my whole life (and I've been meaning to get around to doing something about it, eventually /jk). I've learned coping techniques that help me balance my daily chores and emotional needs with having some down-time for myself.
I'd be happy to coach anyone who wants to change their computer use dynamics.
