I live in brooklyn and for my mental health I must get away for a shabbos. I desperately meed a.change of scenery. We cant leave brooklyn before 12 on friday so place gotta be 3 hrs away or closer. We are a yeshivish family.and dh will not be comfortable if place is mostly.chassidish so the catskills hotels are out. It has to be a place that serves food. Whats the crowne plaza in ct like? Any other ideas?

In 3 weeks shabbos nachamu at the Hilton Parsippany. While there's always a mixed crowd with MO and litvish there's usually more chassidish people they just seem to be more into these.

I heard from a friend that theres a litvish girls camp that rents out to families after the summer - the week between camp and school (although I think you can just do a few days if you want). they have meals there and have men/ladies hours for the pool and ect... I can try to find out the name if it interests you... - maybe you'd rather a hotel?

Oppenheimer's has a nice mixed crowd, not at all completely Chassidish. It's just around 3 hours depending on traffic.
